Does Wabrio use the official WhatsApp API or a QR / web automation engine?
Official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API only. We do not ship, sell or document any unofficial engine (Baileys, web.js, Evolution), now or as an add-on. Eligible accounts can use supported coexistence to keep the WhatsApp Business app on the same number. Meta policies and account restrictions still apply; official API access does not guarantee delivery or immunity from restrictions.
Is Embedded Signup included, or is it an add-on?
Included for both Regular and Extended licences, together with eligible-account coexistence, manual connection and a tenant own-app mode. These connection features are part of the core offer; Meta permissions, eligibility and approval are still required.
What do I need from Meta before my clients can connect?
A Meta developer app with the WhatsApp product, Business verification, and Advanced Access for the WhatsApp permissions, which requires App Review. The manual ships an App Review Kit: Tech Provider steps, the exact permission list, screen-recording scripts, submission text and fixes for common rejections. While your review is pending, tenants can connect with their own Meta app or work on the sandbox channel.
Does it run on shared hosting / cPanel?
Yes. Lite mode needs PHP 8.3, MySQL 8, a cron entry and the usual Laravel extensions; it uses the database queue and polling for the inbox, no Node runtime. Full mode on a VPS or Docker adds Redis, Horizon queues and Reverb websockets for real-time inbox updates.
Who pays Meta’s conversation fees?
Each tenant pays Meta directly through the payment method on their own WhatsApp Business Account. Wabrio is a Tech Provider setup, not a BSP, so there is no central wallet and no markup from us. Message counts per category and per tenant are exposed so you can add a platform fee of your own.
How are AI costs handled?
Two modes per workspace. BYOK: the tenant pastes their own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or OpenAI-compatible key and pays the provider directly. Platform keys: you pool keys, meter usage in credits with per-model multipliers and sell credits with plans and packs. There is a plan-level kill switch and daily and per-conversation budgets per agent.
Regular or Extended licence?
Regular when nobody is charged to use the install. Extended when tenants pay you (plans, credits, a platform fee). Features are identical; the difference is the licence terms of the platform you buy on. One Regular licence covers one production install and a staging copy; Extended on Codester and in our direct stores allows unlimited projects.
Where can I buy Wabrio, and is it the same product everywhere?
On CodeCanyon, Codester, Lemon Squeezy and Payhip; the Buy now button opens a chooser. The download is identical on every platform and updates come from the same in-app updater. What differs is the licence text and who handles checkout: Envato and Codester apply their own Regular / Extended licences (Codester Extended allows unlimited projects), while Lemon Squeezy and Payhip are our direct stores under our published terms, which for this product replace Payhip’s default personal-use licence. Prices are before each platform’s fees and taxes.
How does activation work for each store?
The installer asks which platform you bought from and for its code. CodeCanyon: paste the purchase code from your Downloads page; it is checked with Envato instantly. Lemon Squeezy and Payhip: paste the licence key from your receipt; it is validated with the store and bound to your domain instantly, and deactivating in the super-admin frees it for a move. Codester: there is no purchase code, so we match your order in our seller dashboard and email a WB-CD key within one business day. Every store ends in the same signed licence file with a 14-day grace period.
Is the code encrypted? Does it phone home?
No encrypted or obfuscated files. The only outbound calls to us are the purchase-code or licence-key verification and a daily licence heartbeat, documented in the manual. If our licence server is unreachable your install keeps running on a 14-day grace, and tenants are never blocked by a licence state; only the super-admin banner and the updater react.
How do updates work?
The super-admin Updates page checks a signed manifest, shows the changelog, takes a backup and applies the update with rollback on prebuilt installs. Source and Docker installs show the diff and the rebuild command. Updates are free for licence holders.
Which payment gateways and currencies are supported?
Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PhonePe, Paytm, Paystack, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, Mollie and Paddle, plus manual bank transfer and an offline simulator; twelve more regional gateways follow as free updates. 160+ currencies, GST invoices for Indian sellers and VAT with reverse charge for the EU.
Which languages does the app come in?
26 UI locales, one per target country, including RTL layouts for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu. The shipped landing page is machine-translated at publish time with your own AI key, Google Translate or DeepL. Agents can answer customers in the customer’s language or a fixed one.
Can I test it without Meta credentials?
Yes. The sandbox channel simulates inbound and outbound WhatsApp messages with delivery and read receipts, so you can try the inbox, flows and AI agents on your own install before App Review is approved. The read-only live demo shows the same screens with sample data.
What does support cover and how fast do you reply?
Six months of support from purchase on every platform: feature questions, bugs, the documented install paths and provider setup guides. We aim to answer within one business day. Installation on your behalf, custom development and third-party account issues (Meta verification, gateway KYC) are outside support; ask on the contact page for a quote.
